We thought it was this week....but we were wrong...

We thought this week was the week......

Thankyou to all my valued patients and many kind messages I received after Mr Andrews announcement on Sunday 18th October that (to quote his words) "All Allied Health will return to face to face appointments from Monday 19th October 2020".  It was with much joy that I went to organising appointments for many that have been waiting a very long time for the announcement of eased restrictions within the Allied Health profession.  It was therefore met with great dismay when I received a email yesterday Monday 19th, that Myotherapy has once again not been included in the easing of restrictions. And once again I will have to move appointments out.  An article today in the age, reflected how disappointed we were with our Victorian government excluding Myotherapy within the Allied Health planned return to work. As Myotherapist we work in a clinic based setting and have to abide by all protocols that our colleagues must uphold. Including that we have a Covid Safe Plan in place, so that all our patients and therapists can be treated in safety and covid free environment.  https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/patients-out-in-the-cold-as-new-rules-exclude-myotherapy-massage-20201019-p566ir.html We are still hoping that our return to work is not too far off.  All appointments that were in the diary this week and next will be contacted over the next few days and weeks to make sure you know when your appointments have been changed too.  Once again I thank you for your patience and I truely can't wait to be back in the clinic helping you all achieve your muscle & wellbeing health goals. I hope the next email I send out will be one of celebration welcoming you all back to the clinic.  Yours in Health  Sue Mickelburough
